Darrell Bricker is the Chief Executive Officer, Ipsos Public Affairs, an organization that conducts corporate reputation and social research around the world. The company is a division of Ipsos, the world’s second largest market research firm having offices in 25 countries and a staff of over 700 research professionals.
Dr. Bricker holds a PhD in Political Science from Carleton University in Ottawa and a BA & MA from Wilfrid Laurier in Waterloo. He is a recognized leader in his field and is a prolific author including recent best sellers “The Big Shift” and “We Know What You’re Thinking”. Prior to joining Ipsos in 1990 Darrell was Director of Public Opinion Research in the Office of the Prime Minister. He also worked as a research consultant for firms in Toronto and Ottawa. He is currently located in Toronto.
Dr Bricker appears frequently in the media as a commentator on political, social and business issue. He is a regular speaker at industry, government and academic conferences.
Darrell is a passionate supporter of Canada’s military. In addition to being the Honorary Colonel for the Queen’s York Rangers, he is a member of Canada Company, an organization that raises funds to support the families of Canada’s soldiers. Darrell is also on the campaign cabinet for Fort York, Toronto’s oldest military facility. In recognition of his support to Canada’s military he was awarded a commendation by the head of the army.

Hi Mark, there is no Colonel in Chief at this time – only a Colonel of the Regiment, an Honorary Colonel and an Honorary Lieutenant Colonel.
